Waste Management

Waste Management

The “Waste Management Plan” governs the collection, sorting, transportation, use, and burial of trash. This ensures that the system designed to manage the wastes generated at LLP Firma Ada Oil departments and enterprises functions effectively. Drilling muck and production wastes are sent to the Environmental Department’s Waste Center in accordance with the WMP. A Feasibility Study document on the Reconstruction of the Waste Center project was included in the contract between LLP Firma Ada Oil to guarantee that the Waste Center operates in compliance with more recent standards.

Three ecological measuring stations were constructed in Almaty districts, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, and put into service in accordance with item 5.4 of the “Complex Actions Plan on Improvement of Ecological Condition in Kazakhstan for 2019-2020,” which was approved by Resolution No.1697 dated September 26, 2006 of the governor of Almaty with the goal of atmospheric air protection. The use of sophisticated gas analyzers installed in Ecological Measuring Stations (Stargas-898, Smokemeter-495/01) guarantees ongoing control of used gases emitted into the atmosphere.

In the balance of departments and businesses of LLP Firma Ada Oil, work is being done on monitoring the dangerous gases that automobiles emit into the atmosphere and comparing the results with Kazakhstani regulations. These gas analyzers provide for highly accurate measurement of CO, HC, NOX, and CO2 gases. Final reports are created and sent to businesses so they can take the appropriate action after the gases (CH, CO, and smoke) released into the atmosphere by automobiles and specialized machinery are compared with the standard norms.

The laws and the Constitution of Kazakhstan, as well as the decrees and resolutions of the President of Kazakhstan, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kazakhstan, other normative legal acts, international agreements to which they are parties, agreements on the exploration and development of oil and gas ratified by Kazakhstani laws, and the “Waste management Plan” (WMP) approved by order of LLP Firma Ada Oil President serve as guidelines for LLP Firma Ada Oil’s waste management activities.
