Human Resources
The refinery places a high priority on people policy in order to effectively manage, develop, and create a capable and cohesive team bound by shared company values. About 1445 people work for the LLP Firma Ada Oil, with one-third of the workforce being under 30. Everybody else at the plant is more educated than me. Refinery employees are 34 years old on average. The success of LLP Firma Ada Oil activities is mostly attributable to the caliber of its workforce, which can quickly adapt to shifting market demands in order to accomplish the organization’s set strategic goals and objectives. Consequently, choosing employees is one of the most important tasks.
In order to establish an ideal balance between renewal and preservation of the quantity and quality of workers in accordance with the needs of the refinery, LLP Firma Ada Oil implemented competitive personnel selection rules. These rules offer a transparent approach for personnel search, selection, and adaption. The following procedures must be followed by applicants: testing, a structural unit interview, and a panel interview at the refinery competition committee. The recruiting process is digitized and makes use of the “Electronic Recruiting” information system to guarantee transparency in the flow of resumes from candidates at every level of selection.
In order to assist employed personnel in adjusting to the labor collective, accepting established relationship norms, and mastering the system of professional knowledge and abilities, LLP Firma Ada Oil has developed an adaptation program. In addition to a system for internships, training, and certification, a staff reserve has been formed to replace managers, specialists, and shift leaders. The personnel reserve is updated on a constant basis.
The organization offers advanced, retraining, and training to its employees as part of its human development program. The training center is actively involved in the training process and is equipped with new equipment, modern teaching aids, multimedia training complexes for technological processes, and computer training complexes. Appropriate conditions have been created for the implementation of the personnel development program: classrooms for theoretical training are available in all of the plant’s workshops/complexes.
The refinery understands that new hires taking the place of seasoned workers will determine the company’s future performance as well as the maintenance of industrial and human traditions. Consequently, there is a special focus on hiring recent graduates and young specialists who are able to pick up new skills fast and adjust to changing technology. Over one third of all new recruits are young specialists each year. A young expert is matched with a mentor, one of the highly competent employees at the plant who has completed specific training, when they are hired for a job. Every year, the “Oil Refiners Initiation” ceremony is held to introduce young professionals to the corporate culture of the company.
